PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Occlusal surfaces designed for protection and controlled contact.

Hard occlusal splints are removable, typically rigid appliances prescribed for selected occlusal management needs, including protection of teeth or restorations in patients with clenching or grinding. Their working surface is designed around the clinician’s requested jaw relationship and contact scheme.

Unlike a simple whitening tray or retainer, a hard splint may need carefully planned flat contacts, canine guidance or other specified functional anatomy. Appliance thickness, retention, opposing-arch records and the final adjustment process should be agreed before manufacture.

WHAT SETS THIS PRODUCT APART
  • Occlusal scheme—not just fit—is central to the design.
  • Digital or conventional records may be suitable if the bite relationship is accurately captured.
  • Hardness, thickness, extension and finish should be selected for the indication.
